Biochar Workshops at NSR Recycling Facilities
You will have the opportunity to experience Helsingborg's new biochar competence center RecoPark and participate in workshops in biochar production and R&D.
The afternoon is packed with 6 - 7 one hour blocks of one hour workshops. You will be able to attend 4 of them.
- Biochar production - Real demonstration of different techniques for production of biochar. Co-hosted by VOW
- Making Business models for biochar production. Co-hosted by VOW et al
- Business models of carbon credits. Co-hosted with carbon future
- Demonstration of industrial scale biochar production of biochar from garden waste
- Research of biochar as a sorbent of pollutants in soil. Co-hosted by Swedish Geotechnical institute and Swedis Agricultural University
- Mixing soil substrates with biochar. Co-hosted by Ecotopic
- Mixing climate friendly concrete with biochar. Co-hosted by Ecotopic.
No pre-registration to specific workshops is needed.
A bus leaves from Sea U Congress hall at 12.30.

Keynote Lecture: Oliver Geden (German Institute for International and Security Affairs)
Dr. Oliver Geden, Senior Fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), was a lead author of the IPCC AR6 Working Group III (Mitigation of Climate Change) as well as a member of the Core Writing Team for the AR6 Synthesis Report. Together with other researchers, the policy expert and climate researcher also devised and convened the State of Carbon Dioxide Removal report.

Organized study tour to experience several biochar production plants with different technologies in the south of Sweden. We will meet in the hotel lobby at 07:45 and travel by bus together.
